(inspired by) Nam June Paik, TV GARDEN 2.0

The source of inspiration for this participation is TV Gardens by Nam June Paik, in which he places screens (culture) between plants and trees (nature). Just as video and popular culture clashed with nature and culture, the young people at Villa Basta are going to let social media and the often dramatic content clash with the surroundings of the Stadstriennale. We are going to do this with trees / shrubs from nature (no counterfeit) in which we hang different screens (smartphones, tablets …). We will make films with different groups of young people that reflect on “the social media drama”.
