INTERNATIONAL MEETING IN PERFORMING ARTS & CREATIVE TECHNOLOGIES – INTERREGIONAL PROJECT ABOUT NEW TECHNOLOGIES AND STAGE ARTS WHAT?

IMPACT is a Euregional project that runs in collaboration with partners from the economy, innovation, culture, business and education. In times when technology is indispensable in our society and where art is influenced by creative technologies and the digital world, we are presenting, together with our Euregional partners, the third part of a major project that wants to connect arts with new technologies, digital art and media art. HOW? IMPACT has a triple effect:

1 – IMPACT LEARN The field of ‘learning’ focuses on professionals, students and researchers. Through symposia, study days, workshops and training, IMPACT wants to generate lasting results for the generations of tomorrow and the day after tomorrow. Our Hasselt partner in IMPACT LEARN is the PXL-MAD School of Arts. Lectures / masterclasses are planned with, among others, Eric Joris (CREW) and Peter Misotten (Maastricht Theater Academy). In addition, there is also the Digital Arts uncovered study day.

2 – IMPACT LAB We held an “open call” for artists who were looking for advanced technological support for their artistic practice. In November 2019 we present three projects that are supported by IMPACT LAB: • CREW, EDM-UHASSELT, ANDROME & PLATFORM 0900 – STRAPTRACK • Technology Driven Art lectorate – Zuyd University of Applied Sciences & Theater Academy Maastricht – Dear lollipop • AMPTEC Soundscape sound system – D&B Audiotechnik

3 – IMPACT FORUM In November 2019 we organize the third IMPACT Forum in Liège and Hasselt. The complete programming will be announced later via a brochure and the website impact-regio.eu.
