Anna Ridler (UK, °1985) works with collections of information or data sets, to create new and unusual narratives. The data sets are self-generated so they originate from themselves. With new technologies she creates visual recognisable works for a wider public.  She is currently researching the creative potential of machine learning, and how it relates to drawing and painting. Machine learning is a wide research area within artificial intelligence that concerns with the developing of algorithms and techniques from which computers study. Ridler has degrees from the Royal College of Art, Oxford University, and University of Arts London. Her works where awarded several times, a.o. with the 2018 European Media Art Program and the 2018-2019 Dare Art Prize.
